I never write google reviews but I feel obliged to write one after now being here multiple times. I just moved out here from Milwaukee. And while there is a diner- a few- literally walking distances from my home we choose to drive to Palmyra to eat here. The food is always great. Just your traditional diner food. The staff is stable- when we walk in we have the same smiling faces greet us. Prices and portions are competitive and the food is not overly greasy ( I have a very sensitive stomach). The atmosphere is that of your traditional small town diner, which in my opinion is great. I genuinely feel so welcomed here. Thanks for welcoming me and my family into the community.
Came for a late Saturday breakfast, they were hopping, but we were sat immediately! Food came out extremely fast and was delicious! We had the Meat omelette, it was huge and stuffed with meat! Hash browns were perfectly extra crispy without being burnt or greasy! Had a ham, egg and cheese croissant…seriously delicious. Added a side of crispy corned beef hash, it was the canned kind like we prefer, not greasy and very crispy without being burnt! Even with the price of everything going up, they have great prices and our server, Alyssa, was super fast, friendly and efficient! Definitely a little hidden gem off the beaten path, we will be back! Stopped in again, Sally was our server this time, super efficient and friendly! Food came out quick! Tried the special Country Fried Steak, it was delicious. Hubby had the grandpa special with pancakes, bacon & sausage! Pancakes were perfect! We will be back—AGAIN!
You want an all American, old fashion diner experience? Wherever you are come here and you will have 0 regrets. Best food in the country and I'll bet anything the pies are better than your grandmother used to make!
Best club sandwich ever!! The reason this sandwich was so good was because they used real turkey breast meat off of a bird and the ham was a thick slab from a ham steak, not the usual nasty highly salted deli meats that most places use. And Alyssa did a great job as our server, highly recommend and will be back!!!
Outstanding restaurant. Food was awesome, great atmosphere, and cute place to eat. Terrific & friendly service. Banana pancakes were out of this world.
I went with a group of people and they made us feel welcomed just like if we were family. Food was very good service was outstanding. I would highly recommend going if you have the chance.
Really nice place. Friendly and intentional service. Good food. We enjoyed breakfast after walking on the nearby nature trail. Didn’t get pics of the food, but here are some of the walk to enjoy.
Great restaurant, I love how clean it is! We went for breakfast & this was the first time I ordered American fries here. I would’ve given a 4.5⭐ for food, but I was disappointed that the American fries were frozen potatoes that I think were deep fried. Although they didn’t come out greasy, they were definitely not cooked on a griddle. I never use ketchup with any breakfast food, this was the only way these potatoes tasted good, cuz they were like French fries. The skillet hashbrowns could be a little crispier too. Other than that, great service!
